Pensions are a very tax efficient way of saving – you get tax relief on pension contributions and at retirement you can take a quarter of the value of your benefits tax free. However, if your pension benefits exceed certain allowances you may have to pay some of your tax savings back to HMRC. The purpose of the webinar is to explain about the different types of pensions tax, how and when you might be affected and what it means, and what you can do if you are affected. Although scheduled for 90 minutes, the actual presentation will last about an hour and then there will be plenty of time for questions.
